American death metal powerhouse KONTUSION, hailing respectively from New Jersey and Washington, DC have managed to create an absolutely pummeling slab with their debut LP, "Insatiable Lust for Death".
While you'll hear a lot of the dark and evil influence from many of the early Northeastern DM bands, they manage to combine it with much of the punk edge and intensity of the early Swedish crop of death metal, creating a sound that any death metal maniac should be able to appreciate.
Ugly, blasting, and feedback drenched, "Insatiable Lust for Death" perfectly encapsulates and reflects the current state of a world cloaked in darkness and marred by chaos.
