PURGING is a crushing death metal unit based in Long Beach, CA. Their brand of mutated death adds flourishes of black metal and doom metal, and runs it through a mechanized, dystopian lens, creating a punishing cacophony of savage butchery.
This isn't progressive by any means, but for fans of more forward thinking, bludgeoning death metal. If you enjoy some of the modern heavyweights like Hyperdontia or Dead Congregation, or even classics like Immolation or early Detest you're sure to enjoy the bleak sounds of Purging.
